Foreign Language Club is a club for people who are interested in Foreign Languages. The foreign languages offered at Brockport High School include Spanish, French, and Latin. Here, students of one language will have an opportunity to learn about the culture of not only the language s/he is studying, but also the culture of other languages and cultures.Advisors of the Foreign Language Club
The advisors for the BHS Language Club are Mrs. Younker and Miss Barton. Both Mrs. Younker and Miss Barton are French teachers at BHS. Mrs. Younker teaches French 3 and French 4, while Miss Barton teaches French 1B and French 2. We are very lucky to have these two as our advisors.Officers of the Foreign Language Club
The Language Club at BHS has a different style of student leadership than most other groups or clubs. In the Language Club there is no "president." Nor are there any other set officer titles. In lieu of a president and other officers, each class has two class representative for the club. This group will oversee activites that are undertaken by the group. Also, there are several committees being established for the events of the year. This way there will not be one student in charge of everything. The class representatives are as follows:
